In July 1955, a U.S. Air Force pilot reported an unidentified flying object over Kansas City. The object was white, round, and left no contrails or exhaust. The pilot estimated it was flying at about 66,000 feet and at a speed of 1300 knots. Despite excellent visibility, no radar contact with the object was made.
