🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1955, a witness in Seattle observed a round reddish-white object moving eastward. The sighting lasted 2 to 3 minutes, and although no photos were taken, the report suggested it could be an aircraft. However, due to the lack of concrete data, other explanations could not be ruled out. The report was classified under Project 10073, a U.S. Air Force initiative to investigate UFO sightings.
A day earlier, another witness, using a telescope, reported a similar object: round, pale yellow, the size of a match head. The object moved with an unstable course for 1½ minutes. Although an aircraft was considered, the report concluded there was insufficient information to evaluate the case. These two cases, while different, reflect the uncertainty and mystery surrounding UFO sightings in the 1950s.
