🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1955, a radar in Forland, Missouri, detected an object that appeared and disappeared without a clear pattern. The report details how the object was observed at great distances, up to 236 nautical miles, and how operators tried to track it. A fighter jet was sent to intercept it, but it failed to see or make contact. The strange thing was that the object showed no altitude and didn't behave like a normal aircraft. Although a temperature inversion was considered, the report did not reach a definitive conclusion. The case was classified, but the data suggested a phenomenon that didn't easily fit conventional explanations.
