🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1955, a civilian observer reported seeing an unidentified flying object near Old Greenwich, Connecticut. According to the report, the witness claimed to have seen a disc-shaped object approximately 150 feet in diameter, made of light metal. He took a photo with a 35 mm camera, describing the object as a small blue-white elliptical shape with a trail. However, subsequent analysis by photo experts concluded that the phenomenon was caused by a flaw in the film, either accidental or induced. Additionally, the report contained inconsistencies, such as the detailed description of an object so small that it was hard to frame. The case was classified as a hoax or prank, and not considered a supernatural or extraterrestrial phenomenon.
