🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1955, a witness in Lowell, Michigan, reported seeing a red flashing object moving in a straight and level course. The light, the size of a basketball, remained visible for about three minutes before fading into the weather. Although no photos were taken, the observer accurately described the object's path and appearance. The sighting was officially recorded and evaluated as "possibly an aircraft," though no definitive confirmation was made. Weather conditions, including light rain and overcast skies, complicated the identification of the phenomenon.
