Square UFO near Cedar City in 1955

Summary

In September 1955, near Cedar City, Utah, four civilian observers spotted a square, silver object the size of an orange held at arm's length. The object remained stationary for about two hours, and two of the witnesses claimed to have a mental conversation with it. According to the object, it was from Jupiter and promised to return in two weeks. Although no photos were taken, the responsible officer concluded it was likely a balloon. A record confirmed that MDR balloon #81W was over the area at the time, leading the organization to classify the case as probably a balloon.
