🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1955, a witness in Valentine, Nebraska, reported the presence of several white, round objects moving in a straight line from northeast to southwest. These objects, comparable in size to a dime held at arm's length, remained visible for three minutes before fading away. Although the report does not include photographs, the observer provided a clear and detailed account. The multiple nature of the objects and their straight trajectory caused some confusion, as they could have been a bird formation or an unusual aerial phenomenon.
The official evaluation concluded that there was not enough information to determine the nature of the objects. Possibilities such as balloons, aircraft, or even astronomical bodies were considered, but none fit the description completely. The report was shared with several military units for analysis, but no definitive conclusion was reached. This case remains one of the many UFO incidents in history that remain unsolved, adding a touch of mystery to the Nebraska night.
