🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1955, a witness in Loogootee, Indiana, spotted a white or silver object moving at over 1000 mph. The observer, a former Navy quartermaster, described a solid object without sound or trail in a completely clear sky. The object maintained a straight and level course for about 15 seconds, ruling out a meteor. Despite the detailed account, officials couldn't identify it.
The report includes precise weather data and a second sighting from someone six miles away. The witness, deemed reliable, denied any known air traffic in the area. This experience, officially documented, adds to the unsolved mysteries of Project 10073.
