In May 1955, an unidentified aerial formation was observed over Lakeland, Florida. Witnesses reported a circular and triangular formation composed of five white objects. The observation lasted 35 minutes, and the objects moved at surprising speeds, dispersing in various directions. One headed east, while others moved southwest and northeast. Three objects remained stationary for 15 minutes before vanishing.
The lack of sound and unusual speed raised doubts about their nature. Initial conclusions considered the possibility of balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, but there was not enough data for a definitive evaluation. A B-47 was in the area, suggesting the possibility of an aircraft, though it was not confirmed. The official report did not reach a clear conclusion, leaving the case unresolved.
