UFO seen in New York in 1955

Summary

In November 1955, an object was sighted in Washingtonville, New York. A witness described it as a wedge-shaped object, blue-green in color, appearing for one second. Another witness, an aircraft mechanic, saw it as a round light the size of an orange, with a long luminous trail. The object moved very fast and seemed to spin. Although a meteor was considered, the possibility of an unidentified object was not ruled out.
