🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1956, a witness in Bedford, Indiana, observed three silver, circular objects for nearly three hours, emitting vapor-like smoke. The objects appeared together and seemed to change shape and move from side to side. Despite fighter jets being dispatched to investigate, they only spotted a Piper Cub, raising doubts about the nature of the sighting.
The lack of precise positional and movement data, combined with the inability to confirm the identity of the objects, led investigators to conclude that there was insufficient data for evaluation. This uncertainty reflects the complexity of many UFO reports from that era, where civilian observations often did not align with official records.
