🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1956, a witness in Long Island observed a white spiral-shaped object slowly moving northeast. The man, using binoculars, watched it for 20 minutes before it disappeared with the sunset. It was speculated to be a weather balloon, matching reports from other witnesses. The Air Force investigated and concluded it was "possibly a balloon," though other possibilities weren't ruled out. The object's description and behavior sparked curiosity, but no conclusive evidence of an unidentified phenomenon emerged.
