🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A ground observer in Alger, Michigan, reported a round object the size of a volleyball at arm's length. It changed colors between red and pink, with no sound or visible trail, and moved westward for 15 minutes before disappearing over the horizon. The sighting occurred at an elevation of 80 degrees and an azimuth of 270 degrees. Although a balloon was considered, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft. The witness, a 48-year-old grocer, observed it with the naked eye under clear skies with good visibility.
