🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1956, six students from Hampton-Sydney College in Virginia observed an unusual aerial phenomenon. The object, described as bright and changing colors from red to green and blue, appeared in the southwest sky. One of the witnesses, with knowledge of astronomy, ruled out a shooting star. The object was seen for 45 minutes and, at times, emitted smoke. Although several explanations, such as weather balloons or aircraft, were considered, no definitive confirmation was reached. The observation included details such as the object's movement and intense brightness, prompting interest from air authorities at the time.
