🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1956 report describes the observation of two round objects in Columbus, Ohio, seen during an electrical storm. A witness, a 16-year-old student, observed the objects for 15 minutes using 7x50 binoculars. The objects were yellow in color, measured two inches in diameter at arm's length, and emitted no sound or exhaust. They remained stationary and gradually faded from view. Weather conditions included thunderstorms in the area and beacon lights nearby. Although it was considered a reflection from a beacon light at a nearby airport, no conclusive explanation was reached.
