🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1956, a witness in Winchester, California, reported seeing a round object the size of a pinhead, white and pink in color. The object caught attention due to a buzzing sound it emitted. It moved in a straight line from west to east and faded out in three minutes. Although balloon or astronomical explanations were considered, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft. The duration of the sighting, the straight path, and the buzzing sound supported this conclusion.
The official report, dated 1956 but processed decades later, includes weather data and witness details. The observer, a 33-year-old local, described the event clearly, though no photos or radar data were recorded. Despite the lack of visual or technical evidence, analysts concluded the object was probably an aircraft, though its exact type or origin remains unknown.
