🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1956, a witness in Passaic, New Jersey, reported a very bright, white object with sharply defined edges. The object, the size of a pea at arm's length, disappeared below the horizon. Its speed was estimated at 850 mph at 10,000 feet, but no definitive identification was possible due to insufficient data.
The official report notes that no photos were taken and the witness did not provide details on the object's shape or flight path. Although several explanations were considered, such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, no valid conclusion was reached. The case was classified as likely an aircraft, but ambiguity remains.
