Summary

In April 1956, a luminous object was sighted over Casablanca, Morocco, generating two separate reports. A meteorological station employee described it as a fiery yellow ball with blue edges, moving slowly and circling the city before disappearing behind clouds. Another witness, located at a distance, took it for a meteor. Although initially considered a balloon or astronomical phenomenon, the description of controlled movements and the duration of the sighting (2-3 minutes) raised doubts. The lack of noise and unusual trajectory added mystery to the case.

The official report classified it as likely a balloon or meteor, but did not rule out the possibility of an unidentified object. The detailed description of the trajectory and the absence of noise or trail made this case one of the most intriguing of the 1950s. Although no definitive conclusion was reached, the testimony of two distinct witnesses and the unusual characteristics of the object make this document interesting for the study of UFO sightings.
