Aerial sighting in San Diego in 1956

Summary

In April 1956, an observer in San Diego repeatedly saw groups of objects in the sky. Three separate sightings were recorded, each involving between 8 and 30 objects arranged in a "V" formation. The witness noted that the objects changed positions at times and also saw jet aircraft in the area. Although balloon, aircraft, and astronomical explanations were considered, the report concluded it was likely birds. No formal report was filed, and the case remains unresolved.
