🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1956, multiple witnesses in Waterville and Morrisville, Vermont, reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. The testimonies described between 2 and 6 star-shaped objects, yellow and bright, with no sound or trail. Some witnesses used binoculars to observe them, noting one object appeared to be 4 to 6 feet in diameter. The Air Force investigated the cases and concluded they were likely weather balloons, possibly related to operations like Skyhook. Despite investigations, no definitive explanation was found, and the reports highlight the inability to conclusively identify the observed objects.
