🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1956, a 12-year-old boy in Ada, Oklahoma, observed 20 flying objects described as round discs in silver-gray color. The objects, moving from southwest to northwest, were estimated to be between 50 and 100 feet in size and had a central protrusion. The witness, who saw them for 20 seconds, claimed they were under intelligent control and not airplanes. Despite the detailed description, authorities concluded there was insufficient data to evaluate the case.
The report includes a letter from the witness, who expressed concern about possible subversive activity and decided to report the incident to both a civilian organization and the Air Force. Although the testimony is detailed, the boy could not provide photos or additional data. The letter, carefully written, suggests the witness considered the possibility that someone was "testing" or "evaluating" his reaction. The case was filed as insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
