🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Winchester, California, reported a disk-shaped object the size of a half-dollar coin. On June 10, 1956, at 06:08 UTC, the object appeared 10 degrees above the horizon, with a color ranging from white to light pink. It moved in a straight line before making a fast 180-degree turn and fading out. The sighting lasted about two minutes.
Although initially considered a balloon or astronomical phenomenon, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft. The duration, maneuvers, and speed of the object matched the behavior of a plane, though no specific one was identified. The report, part of Project 10073, did not reach a definitive conclusion but ruled out non-conventional explanations.
