🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Lutz, Florida, reported a round object the size of a half-dollar coin, with an orange color and a reddish bottom. The object moved from the southeast to the south and was observed both with the naked eye and binoculars. Initially considered a balloon or aircraft, further analysis concluded it was an astronomical object. An operations officer confirmed it was definitely a planet, identified as Saturn.
The weather was clear with light clouds, aiding the observation. Several aircraft passed through the area during the sighting, but were unrelated to the object. The official report concluded there was no evidence of unidentified activity, and the case was closed after the astronomical confirmation.
