🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1956, a 13-year-old boy and his parents in Washington, D.C., observed two round lights the size of a pinhead, yellow in color. The objects were in formation and moved in a circular path before disappearing to the east. The witness reported that the objects appeared to be climbing rapidly, although the observation lasted only between 5 and 10 seconds. Due to the short duration and lack of photographs, investigators concluded it could have been an aircraft, though other possibilities were not ruled out.
The case description was recorded in an official Air Force form, noting that the report arrived by phone to the duty officer. Despite clear visibility and observation by three people, no conclusive evaluation was made. The document was filed under Project 10073, an initiative that collected reports of unidentified sightings.
