🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness described a half-moon shaped object, white and bluish, observed through high-powered binoculars. The object blinked and moved slowly northward. The sighting lasted between 4 and 5 minutes, with the observer noting changes in color and brightness. Due to fog and broken clouds, investigators considered the possibility of a searchlight or spotlight.
The official report did not rule out conventional explanations but did not reach a definitive conclusion. It was classified as "other cause" with insufficient data for evaluation. Despite the technology of the time, the phenomenon remained unidentified.
