🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1956, six bright objects were observed in the sky over Brooklyn, New York, by three teenagers. The objects, described as white star-like shapes in a paired formation, disappeared suddenly followed by a flash of light. Although initially considered a possible astronomical event, it was concluded that the sighting was caused by military F86D jets practicing intercept maneuvers. No photos were taken, but the responsible officer interviewed the witnesses and confirmed the conventional explanation. The detailed description of the formation and behavior of the objects adds intrigue to this classic UFO case.
