🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1956, a civilian in Dayton, Ohio, reported a white object the size of a walnut that remained still and moved jerkily in the sky. The observation lasted 15 minutes and was classified as a probable balloon. Investigators checked with the Weather Service and confirmed it matched the wind pattern of a previously launched balloon. Despite the seemingly conventional conclusion, the case remains interesting due to its detailed description and the quick resolution.
