🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1956, a witness in Vancouver, Washington, observed between two and five disc-like objects shining and moving southeast toward Bellingham. One object was oval, silver-colored, and about the size of a dime at arm's length, with small wings on each side. The observation lasted one hour and twenty minutes, indicating a prolonged presence in the sky. Although several explanations were considered, such as balloons or aircraft, no definitive conclusion was reached. An additional document mentions a balloon identified thirty minutes after the sighting, increasing the possibility that the observed objects were balloons, though wind patterns and the trajectory toward Bellingham complicate certainty.
