🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1956, a witness in Van Dyke, Michigan, observed a red and white bright object traveling south for five and a half hours. Described as the size of a pinhead at arm's length, it suddenly faded from view. The observation was classified as astronomical, specifically attributed to the planet Mars. Atmospheric inversion layers were mentioned as a possible explanation for the prolonged appearance. Although no photos were taken, the report concluded it was not a conventional aircraft or balloon.
