🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1956, a UFO was sighted near Quartzite, Arizona, about 20 miles south of the location. A witness described it as a pale blue object, the size of a dime to a quarter, moving at great speed without changing color, altitude, or speed. Another observer saw it for 25 to 60 seconds but could not determine its height or speed. The object emitted no sound or trail, making it even more mysterious. Despite investigations, the phenomenon remained unidentified, and the report concluded it as such.
Investigators did not find conclusive evidence that the object was a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon. Witnesses agreed that the object had no characteristics of any known artifact. Although a weather balloon was suggested, it did not match the observations. In the end, the report concluded that the object remained unidentified, and no further action was taken. This case is part of many UFO reports that remain unexplained.
