🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1956, multiple UFO sightings in Pueblo and Colorado drew attention from authorities. One civilian observer reported seeing six to eight greenish glowing objects in a "V" formation. Although the sighting lasted only one second, researchers considered the possibility of meteors. In another instance, a military observer watched for two hours and twenty-one minutes a round object the size of a basketball, with colors ranging from red to green. Despite the long observation, the object remained unidentified.
Beyond Pueblo, in Fort Collins and Loveland, another case gained attention due to its duration and frequency. A bright red object appeared over several nights, prompting hundreds of calls to authorities. Witnesses agreed it was not a star or aircraft, and although Mars was suggested, experts ruled it out. No balloon activity or flights were found in the area. The mysterious nature of the phenomenon and the lack of conventional explanations made it a notable UFO case.
