Summary

In August 1956 in Denver, Colorado, a UFO sighting was recorded and later identified as balloons. Two objects were observed for over an hour, with lights hanging from cables connecting them. Although the sighting was considered unusual, analysts confirmed they were balloons at different altitudes. A pilot, Lieutenant Davenport, participated in the interception and helped identify them.

Witnesses described bright white lights and slow movements in an east-southeast direction. A woman and her son, from the 8th floor of a hotel, saw an object larger than an airplane with clearly defined edges. Meanwhile, others reported mysterious lights in Aurora that changed colors, causing confusion among residents. Despite the unusual appearance, the official conclusion was that they were balloons.
