In August 1956, in Annapolis, Maryland, a UFO sighting was recorded that drew attention due to its duration and number of witnesses. Two round-shaped objects with a reddish-silver color were observed for eight minutes. One appeared to fly alone, while the other moved in formation. Witnesses described a soft humming sound and noted the objects performing rapid and sudden maneuvers. Seven people, including children and older adults, confirmed the sighting, adding credibility to the report. Despite subsequent investigations, no clear explanation was found, although a high-flying jet aircraft reflecting sunlight was considered a possible cause.
