🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1956, a witness in Juniata, Pennsylvania, observed a circular object with a plastic dome on top. The object was between 2 and 3 feet in diameter and emitted a very bright light that illuminated the observer's backyard. The object ascended vertically to an altitude of 20,000 feet and then headed north at high speed. The witness observed it for three minutes before it faded from view.
The official evaluation could not identify the object as a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon. It was concluded that the data was insufficient for a definitive determination. This case remains unidentified, adding another mystery to the history of UFO sightings in the United States.
