An orange light was observed for three consecutive nights in Crestone, Colorado, in August 1956. The witness described it as resembling an airplane, the size of a basketball at arm's length. Despite remaining visible for over two hours on one occasion, the object showed no apparent movement, puzzling the observers. The repeated observation over three nights caught the attention of authorities, who eventually concluded it was the planet Mars. This case is a classic example of how planets can be misinterpreted as unexplained aerial phenomena.
