🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Ohio observed a darkish yellow object the size of a half-dollar moving slowly from north to south. The sighting was visual and silent. Investigators concluded it was likely a reflection from a spotlight at the Ohio State Fair. Although the initial report was sparse, the most plausible explanation was light reflection. This case is part of a series of August 1956 sightings that include other sky phenomena, from aircraft to astronomical events. Many of these cases lacked a clear resolution but were filed as unclassified information.
