🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1956 report describes the observation of a stationary luminous object in the sky over Parma Heights, Ohio. The witness described it as star-shaped, glowing in multiple colors, and unmoving for five minutes. Although initially considered an unidentified flying object, investigators concluded it was the planet Mars. The report, made by a civilian interested in UFOs, was analyzed by the Air Force without finding evidence of supernatural or unknown technology.
The case was recorded by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, which evaluated the testimony and ruled out other explanations such as balloons or aircraft. The witness, a 21-year-old young man, claimed to have been observing the sky due to his interest in unexplained aerial phenomena. Despite the duration of the observation and the detailed description, there were no photographs or additional physical evidence. Ultimately, investigators concluded the object was Mars, visible in a position that explained its apparent stillness and changing colors.
