In September 1956, an observer in Pasadena, California, reported a round, gray object the size of a pea. The object moved in a straight line from east to west for thirty seconds, observed both with the naked eye and binoculars. Although initially considered the possibility of an aircraft, it was not entirely ruled out. A second sighting occurred days later, with a bright, metallic object visible for 41 minutes.
