🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1956, multiple witnesses in Indiana reported sightings of unidentified objects with lights changing colors. Two objects, white, red, and green, moved in an unusual way, without making noise or leaving a trail. One witness described a silver egg-shaped object moving southwest before disappearing. Although aircraft were considered, witnesses weren't convinced.
Military authorities reviewed the reports but didn't conduct a field investigation. Witnesses agreed the objects behaved strangely, maneuvered, and moved faster than any known aircraft. Despite the lights and movements, no sound or vapor trails were heard or seen. Confusion remained, and while aircraft were suggested, the details didn't fully match.
