Summary

In September 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, an officer collected a sample of what was called "angel hair" from an anonymous woman. This fibrous material was analyzed and found to be rayon residue from a defective filter. Although initially intriguing, the earthly explanation ended the uncertainty. The case was recorded in Project 10073, where other theories such as balloons or astronomical phenomena were dismissed.

The sample was not photographed and no physical image was obtained, but its analysis revealed a clearly artificial composition. This incident is part of a series of UFO reports from the time, where many observations ended with conventional explanations. However, the case also included testimonies of other unexplained phenomena, such as a mysterious metal found in an abandoned gravel pit, which sparked debates among scientists and UFO enthusiasts.
