A round, dark object was sighted in Bridgeboro, New Jersey, on October 5, 1956. The witness described it as the size of a nickel held at arm's length, with a black-gray color. The object was spinning rapidly with blurred edges and moving erratically, sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left, maintaining a 45-degree angle.
