🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1956, a witness in China Lake, California, reported a formation of luminous objects moving from north to south. He described a row of bright points with faint rings, swaying like a flock of birds. The sighting came after reading a book about flying saucers, raising some expectations. The observation lasted about 9 seconds, and the witness did not take photos. Although birds or aircraft were initially considered, they were ruled out. Investigators concluded it was likely an astronomical phenomenon, though light reflections on birds were not completely dismissed.
