In October 1956, a witness in Norwalk, Ohio, observed an elliptical object that changed colors from orange to green to red. The object moved up and down within a one-mile area for about 45 seconds. Although no photos were taken, the observer provided a detailed description of the object's movement and appearance.
Researchers ruled out visible astronomical bodies like Capella and considered it neither a balloon nor an aircraft. However, no definitive conclusion was reached due to insufficient data. Some suggested it could have been a searchlight on a haze layer, but this was not confirmed.
