🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1956, a witness in Anita, Iowa, observed a bright silver disc-like object. The object was about the size of a pinhead at arm's length, with thin edges and a thick center. It remained stationary for two minutes but continuously flipped over. The witness saw it both with the naked eye and through binoculars, adding credibility to the account. The unusual shape and motion of the object sparked curiosity, but there were no photographs or additional records.
Investigators considered several explanations, such as a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon. However, none of these fully matched the detailed description provided by the witness. In the end, it was concluded that there was insufficient data to evaluate the object's true nature. This case remains one of the many unresolved mysteries in UFO sighting history.
