🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An oval-shaped object the size of a basketball, silver on top and bottom with a black stripe in the center, was observed on November 14, 1956 in Brainerd, Minnesota. The witness saw it descending for one minute before it disappeared from view. Although no photos were taken, the report suggests it could be a balloon released by a local organization such as General Mills or Raven Industries. However, there was no definitive confirmation, and it was concluded that the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
The atmosphere of the time was prone to unexplained object reports, and although explanations like aircraft or astronomical phenomena were ruled out, the lack of concrete evidence kept the mystery alive. The local sheriff checked the area but only found tracks possibly caused by a small plane. Despite investigations, the case remains unsolved, adding to the list of phenomena that generate curiosity and debate.
