🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1956, a witness in Marimont, Ohio, saw a teardrop-shaped object, half the size of the moon, with a red tail. The object was descending vertically below the horizon and was observed for three seconds. Although initially considered a UFO, investigators concluded it was a meteor. The description, trajectory, and manner of disappearance matched typical characteristics of a bright meteor. It is also mentioned that a photo was taken, though the identity of the photographer remains unspecified.
