🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1956 report describes the observation of two oval objects the size of a basketball, with a brilliant white glow and four yellow lights on each. They were seen over East Gary, Indiana, at dusk and remained stationary in the sky. The witness, a housewife, couldn't identify them and no photos were taken. Although an astronomical phenomenon was considered, no conclusive evaluation was made due to insufficient data.
The report, under Project 10073, was reviewed but no clear conclusion was reached. It was recorded as a ground visual sighting, and although binoculars were used, no further information was obtained. The mystery remains unsolved, and the case is closed with the label "insufficient data for evaluation," leaving room for multiple theories.
