🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A round, orange object was observed in Dayton, Ohio, in 1956. It was described as larger than the moon with intermittent red flames. The witness reported that the object exploded and seemed to fall to the ground, moving at a speed compared to a piece of paper burning in the air. Despite the detailed description, investigators concluded the data was insufficient, and a meteor was considered a possible explanation. The lack of information on the duration of the sighting complicated a definitive evaluation of the phenomenon.
