🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1956, a witness in Colorado Springs reported by phone about three white or yellowish lights that appeared to move together along the ground. The lights, varying in size from a pea to a baseball, traveled from east to west for five minutes. Each one faded in a specific order: first the top, then the middle, and finally the bottom. Although initial reports suggested a possible aircraft, the duration and behavior of the lights didn't clearly match conventional objects.
The report, classified under Project 10073, didn't reach a definitive conclusion. Balloons or astronomical bodies were ruled out, but no known object was identified. The lights blinked and sometimes took on a yellowish hue, adding to the mystery. Despite a prolonged visual observation, the data wasn't enough for a conclusive evaluation. This case remains one of many unresolved sightings from the era.
