In December 1956, a witness in Tampa, Florida, observed three white circular objects the size of a silver dollar at arm's length. The objects were flying in a "V" formation and remained visible for one minute. Although it might initially seem like an unexplained phenomenon, investigators concluded that the sighting was caused by sunlight reflecting off a high-flying B-47 aircraft. This explanation was supported by the reporting officer, indicating no need to look for more mysterious causes.
